A Stunning Large 1960s Teak extendable dining table by Arne Vodder for Sibast Mobler.
Arne Vodder (1926–2009) was a celebrated Danish architect and designer, known for his elegant, organic, and simple style in mid-20th century Danish Modernism.
After training with master carpenter Niels Vodder and architect Finn Juhl, he became a qualified architect in 1947. His successful career included a close partnership with Sibast Furniture for which he created many exported pieces, and a collection of furniture for prestigious global locations like the White House and the Vatican.
The table has been stripped back to the wood and professionally spray refinished in a durable satin lacquer (essential for a working dining table) which is true to the original in colour and finish.
The seater table can be extended just once or twice with the additional leaves to become a 10-12 seater table at a massive 3 metres in length!
